If you have a passion for making spaces clean and tidy, then this is the perfect role for you! working in a very prestigious group of Mansion Blocks in West London close to Barons Court tube on the District and Piccadilly line.
This is a temporary position with a contract length of 6 months, starting on 1st July 2024. You will be working on a full-time basis Monday to Friday.(Monday Wednesday & Thursday 8am to 5pm Tuesday & Friday (Bins days) 7am to 4pm, with an hourly rate of £13.00.
Working as a Porter/Cleaner for our client, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of their properties. First job of the day is clearing down rubbish from outside the flats then cleaning the blocks. They will also need to clear outside the blocks, yards and paths and watering. They may also be required, one day a week to carry out jet washing, carpet cleaning and steam cleaning around the Estate together with any such other tasks as we may reasonably require.
When not covering a porter role they will be working in the gardens and grounds, this may include using some machinery, lawn mowers and leaf blowers together with the same machinery as the porters above.quite physical as up and down stairs with no no lifts.
To excel in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in cleaning and/or maintenance roles
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, stairs to climb no lifts
Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
