I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to join their team

Job Description

As a Logistics Operations Specialist your main responsibilities are:

The successful candidate will be supporting a busy, time pressured test planning and logistics team, main activities will include, but not be limited to liaising with Aero lead engineers and the wind tunnel test facility to produce detailed weekly plans for test activities
Organising and managing logistics for both personnel and test vehicles, including vehicle transportation, travel line management for test engineers, and managing fitter support
Vehicle preparation work, including instrumentation, removal/assembly of mechanical components, wheel and tyre changes
Workshop activity co-ordination, raising and tracking job cards for additional support from the workshop team
Managing test vehicle and test property internal movement and storage

Qualifications / Skills needed

Microsoft office working knowledge
Organisational skills
Logistics/planning experience
