Medical Scheduler - Cardiology

Come join our team at Cardiovascular Vascular Medical Group in Beverly Hills, a leading medical practice specializing in cardiology. We consist of 11 physicinas and 4 Nurse Practicioners . We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to fill the role of Medical Scheduler - Cardiology. As a Medical Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of patient appointments, contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities
Schedule appointments for patients with accuracy and attention to detail
Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure scheduling efficiency
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients regarding appointments
Verify patient insurance information and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
Update patient demographics along with Primary and Sedondary insurance coverage
Collaborate with the billing department to address any billing-related concerns
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Provide excellent customer service to patients and assist them with any questions or concerns
Monitor Artera messaging software for any cancellations and confirmations
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic medical records systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and cardiology procedures is preferred
