Job Description
Apex Clean Energy is seeking an experienced a temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team to focus on the growth of our organization. The concentrated focus for this role will be talent acquisition. You will be responsible for the full-life cycle recruitment process, including working closely with hiring managers, determining job requirements, sourcing top-notch candidates, screening candidates, managing candidate communications, and forecasting hiring needs. You will also be focused on executing on diversity measures and promoting our employee value proposition externally via recruitment partnerships and events, social media, and other recruitment initiatives.
To ensure success, you should possess extensive experience in talent acquisition, comfort with managing at least 7 open requisitions, and have extensive experience attracting the right candidate for each role. Our ideal candidate will have talent acquisition experience in the renewable energy or related industry.
This is a full-time contracted position with long-term potential opportunities.
Hours: Full Time, Exempt
Department: Human Resources
Office Location: Charlottesville, VA. A remote option would be considered for an ideal candidate. 
Primary Responsibilities
Performing full life-cycle recruitment efforts, managing every step of the process including candidate experience and partnering with hiring teams
Determining selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for vacant positions
Sourcing potential candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, social platforms, events, and partnerships
Managing hiring processes via Applicant Tracking System
Build best in class processes and programs to support the diversity strategy and help us to deliver on our DEI goals
Assist with developing and/or maintaining important strategic university and community partnerships
Evaluating applications and screening candidates, as well as facilitating pre-interview assessments when needed
Compiling interview questions and conducting in-person or video call interviews with candidates
Preparing hiring forecasts as part of the company's strategic planning
Documenting processes and fostering good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants
Developing hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements in the field
Conduct employee onboarding
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
Help maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form, as needed
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
