Permanent vacancy - 37 hours per week
£35,205 to £39,609 per annum

We are looking for a CBE Lecturer to join our team of industry experts and specialists to pass on your knowledge to the next generation of industry professionals. You will work as part of our established delivery team to cover all aspects of the new Higher National level and technical qualifications.

Our new Construction Lecturer will educate the professionals of the future to ensure competency in a range of activities using industry standard methods and technology to complete projects relevant to traditional and modern-day situations. This includes delivering practical competence skills-based training to our young people looking to move into industry trade apprentice routes, or adults looking to upskill or change career. You will also support classroom delivery of subject knowledge relating to your trade specialism. The theoretical delivery covers a wide range of subject specific areas including BIM, Surveying, Construction technology and design, including using CAD/Revit software. We are looking for evidenced previous experience in Construction and the Built Environment, for competency to teach across construction pathways from Level 3 / Level 4, including our Grade 1 T level provision.

You will be based at the ultra-modern CUBE construction facility that is well resourced to deliver all aspects of new technology in the construction industry. On site we have a low carbon teaching resource centre and live working new build construction site, that we utilise as a teaching aid to get all our learners as close to industry as possible.
