Your role as a Junior Controller includes:
- Collaborating with our Business Controller and operational managers in aviation and cargo, providing invaluable financial, commercial, and accounting insights.
- Building strong relationships with local Business Unit Managers and Sales Executives, offering financial guidance and support to boost their success.
- Leading cost control initiatives and assisting in establishing effective cost controls to steer us towards our financial goals.
- Navigating smoothly through financial and commercial reporting deadlines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all our financial reports.
- Assisting in the monthly closing process and playing an essential role in budget and forecast preparations to lead us to financial success.
- Acting as the backbone of our financial department, always providing support and expertise when needed.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and statistical requirements, as proper task execution is crucial.
- Taking the lead during our annual external audit process and ensuring seamless compliance with all corporate tax requirements.
- Championing the development of our financial function, promoting continuous improvement in systems, processes, and the development of our talented team.
- Working closely with our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments to ensure accurate journal entries aligned with our financial goals.
- Bachelor's in accounting / finance.
- 0 - 3 years post qualification experience.
- English speaking and Dutch (preferred).
- Residing in the Netherlands.
- A salary ranging from €3000 to €3900 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience;
- 25 vacation days;
- 8% holiday allowance;
- Pension scheme;
- 10% bonus after the first year based on performance objectives.
