Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

* Provide construction lesson support to teachers and students, assisting with lesson preparation, delivery, and classroom management.

* Utilise your construction expertise to support practical learning activities, workshops, and projects within the school's curriculum.

* Help create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, including setting up equipment and materials for construction-related activities.

* Offer guidance and supervision to students during hands-on construction tasks, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.

Job Description: Qualiteach are seeking a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in construction to join our one of partnered special needs schools in Wandsworth. This unique role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on construction experience to apply their skills and knowledge in an educational setting.

*Direct school experience is not essential but, some experience working with young people is disrerable*

Requirements:

* Previous experience working in construction, preferably in a trade or practical role.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
