Our client, a dynamic and thriving point of sale company, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and customer billing
Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
Assist with cash allocation and general accounts duties as required
Support the payroll function by preparing employee timesheets and processing payroll accurately and on time
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Sage or a similar accounting software
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment dealing with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general accounts duties
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will be offered a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum. Our client offers a supportive and friendly work environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow within their organisation.
