Welding Supervisor

Hello,
My client is a thriving and expanding company based in Hainault, Illford. They are currently in need of a Welding Supervisor to join their team. This is a full time/ permanent role, Monday – Friday.
ROLE: The Welding Supervisor will be running our welding department ensuring all processes are adhered to and quality of work is of a high level. If you are currently a welder with mig, tig experience and maybe looking to take on a supervisory role, this could be an opportunity for you.
DUTIES:
* Supervising our welding team ensuring work is carried out in the correct order.
* Ensuring the quality of work being produced in your department is of high quality and delivered in an efficient manner.
* You must have good experience of reading engineering drawings and understanding weld symbols.
* Willing to accept training to program and set up our co-bot welding systems (robot welding).
* Must have good communication skills and speak fluent English.
* Experience in welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium is essential.
* Implement safety procedures e.g. risk assessment of your area with continuous H&S overview.
* Complete pre and post weld inspection of welding equipment set ups to ensure compliance with the specified standard.

SALARY: UP TO £20P/H
