Lead Commissioning Engineer

We are currently seeking to identify a talented Lead Commissioning Engineer on a permanent basis in Cumbria.
The Lead Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:

The successful delivery of the Commissioning phase of a large Project from the concept design through to handover to the client at the end of Commissioning
Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm.
Leads the commissioning team as a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, conventional and environmental safety.
Compiles the project commissioning strategy, defines scope and owns the commissioning plan.
Ensures all commissioning arrangements are in place and conform to Site License conditions through the commissioning preparation and execution phases.
Manages the preparation and execution of the arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording and assessing the results of commissioning tests for both IPC and ISC ensuring that all commissioning activities are recorded and managed via the project completions management system.
Establishes and maintains all processes and procedures required for commissioning delivery.
Actively participates in the company digital transformation process and leads the commissioning team to deliver paperless commissioning.
Compiles handover strategy and supports the client in the Operations and Maintenance training.Here's What You'll Need

10 years commissioning experience, with experience in a similar managerial role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry
Experience with completions management systems
Preferred degree or HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
Project management knowledge
