Stores Operator

Permanent opportunity for a Stores operator to join a global Manufacturing organisation based in the Huddersfield area. Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer and specialise in the supply of components to various sectors.

Stores operator : (The Role)

Responsible for managing material storage, stocktaking, and issuing from the department's storage area.
Performing material cutting for manufacturing in the company's machine shop.
Conducting inventory checks of materials in the warehouse.
Handling material receipt and identification processes.
Stores operator : (The ideal Candidate will have)

Engineering Background preferred
Must have the ability to read engineering drawings.
Have understanding of both imperial and metric measurement systems.
Fork lift truck licence desirable
Experience working with Stainless Steels & Other Metals
Read Engineering Drawings
Stores operator : Salary & Package

£12.25 per hour
Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
