£18.00 – 22.00/ hour + 28 days paid holiday

Armstrong Vehicle Support is a separate division to Armstrong Logistics where we are building a VMU team of technicians to maintain and support our logistics business. We operate around 80 vehicles and 200 trailers on our own fleet and require skilled technicians so that we can expand our business into maintaining not just our own fleet but to bring in TP outside work as well.

We are looking for several skilled technicians who have experience working on HGV vehicles, trailers, and vans to join our team at our VMU in Lutterworth

As an HGV Technician: we can offer you:

* £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (depending on your HGV experience and qualifications)

* Working Hours: Monday – Friday – (Hours & Shifts TBA) & Saturday 08.00 – 12.00 (If required)

* Overtime at Time and a Half

* 28 days holiday (All Bank Holidays worked unless booked as holiday)

Responsibilities

* Routine vehicle and trailer maintenance to DVSA standards

* Preparation and preparation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection

* Diagnosing of vehicles with diagnostic equipment

* Good Housekeeping and H&S requirements

* Ensure all paperwork is completed and Inspections electronically uploaded onto R2C Skill And Qualifications

* HGV Licence would be preferable (Not essential)

* Any Level 3 / NVQ technician qualifications
