Pre Commissioning Cleaning Engineer

Job Title: Pre-Commissioning Engineer.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £40k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with a leading name in the Water Treatment industry. Due to acquiring new contracts, they are now seeking to take on a Pre-Commissioning Engineer in the South East. You will be carrying out BSRIA flushing of primary/secondary systems, back flushing, power flushing, and checking water flow quality across Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Local Authority sites. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training, excellent holiday allowance, company pension scheme, and opportunities for overtime with competitive rates. Due to the nature of the role, consideration would be given to candidates who have experience assisting in pre-commissioning cleans.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Windsor, Bracknell, Slough, Woking, Basingstoke, Guildford, Alton, Haslemere, Horsham, Reigate, Epsom, Croydon, Chatham, Dartford, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Canterbury, Gravesend, Ashford.

Experience & Qualifications:
Extensive experience working for a reputable Water Treatment company, working hands on as a Pre-commissioning Cleaning Engineer is essential to the role.
Well versed in BSRIA guidelines.
Excellent IT skills.
Able to communicate and organise work load efficiently.

The Role:
Undertaking flushing of primary / secondary systems and fan coil units.
Carrying out pre-commissioning chemical cleans on LTHW and CHW systems.
Carrying out backflushing and power flushing of systems.
Checking water flow rates and velocities.
Testing water quality by sampling water systems.
Ensuring work carried out complies with BSRIA guidelines.
Ensuring to work in line with site specific plans.
Providing clients support and advice when required.
Producing detailed reports based on site findings.
