We are recruiting for Relief Support Workers to join our team. You will support people on a 1 to 1 and 2 to 1 basis. This is a challenging, varied and rewarding role. You must be willing to work flexibly and provide support with personal care, finance and medication. Full training will be provided; you just need to demonstrate the right attitudes and behaviours.
You will be expected to work across a variety of shift patterns including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep ins, waking nights, weekends and bank holidays. The shift times are varied to cover the services 24/7 and to ensure service delivery meets the needs of the people you will be supporting.

The people we support are both male and female ages between 30-80 and enjoy a variety of different activities such as swimming, cinema, attending voluntary and paid work, going to the park, shopping, going for walks and getting involved with the local community. Being able to cook, promote healthy eating and provide support with personal care is essential. Some of the people we support have challenging behaviour so the ability to remain calm in any situation and work closely with the support team is important. Experience of working with challenging behaviour and supporting people with non-verbal communication is desired.

You don’t need any qualifications but you will be a self-motivated and dedicated person with a fun and imaginative approach who can support people with complex and challenging needs and behaviours.
