Part-time Childminder Assistant
Location: Barnet EN5
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm 2 days will increase to 4 days (Close on Fridays)
Contract: Part-time, Permanent
We are looking for a kind, caring individual Childminder Assistant who has previous childcare experience. We are a very small setting our numbers vary between 4 to 6 children a day and will increase in the number of children. Our work is based more on quality and not quantity.
The ideally candidate would be offered 2 days per week start. However 4 days a week would be offered to the most dedicated candidate.
Requirements:
* Good understanding of the EYFS foundation stage.
* Experience and knowledge looking after young children under 5 years old.
* An individual who is confident to be part of an Ofsted inspection.
* DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification is a plus
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Duties
* To engage in age-appropriate activities with children, such as reading, playing games, and arts and crafts
* Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and meet any dietary restrictions
* Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
* Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, and any specific needs of the children
* Monitor children's behaviour and address any issues or concerns in a calm and appropriate manner
* Ensure the safety of the children at all times, both indoors and outdoors
You will need to have a clear enhanced DBS Check, either on the Government Update Service or alternatively we can carry out one for you.
