Quality Assurance Technician

Are you a motivated individual currently working within the technical team in the food and drink industry?

We are currently working with a multi-site, well established food manufacturer who is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

-Quality Standards Compliance: Ensure all quality standards meet customer and BRC (British Retail Consortium) requirements.
-Calibration Schedule Management: Maintain and update the calibration schedule and labels.
-Internal Audits: Play a crucial role in the internal audit team, conducting traceability and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) audits as needed.
-Support Roles: Assist the Quality Assurance Manager and Technical Manager in various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
-Factory and Office Presence: Balance your role between the factory floor and the office, ensuring compliance and quality are upheld across all areas.

Requirements:
-Experience: Previous experience in a similar quality assurance position within the food and drink industry is essential.
-Chilled Products: Proven experience working with chilled products.
-BRC Standards: Strong understanding and application of BRC standards.
-Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to maintaining high-quality standards.

Salary - £25,000-£30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
