Finance Analyst

RECfinancial is exclusively recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join one of Leicestershire's best businesses. The role is based at an impressive head office which is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Derby Nottingham, North Northamptonshire and Coventry / Warwickshire.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the role focuses on commercial tasks and analysis with a small amount of exposure to month end. The mix is 20% month end and 80% analysis / business partnering.
Tasks will include assisting with annual budget process and forecasting activities, business analysis, business partnering non finance managers, new business initiatives, financial reporting and kpi reporting / analysis.
The role would best suit a candidate who is looking to do less month end in their role and wanting to move to a role that is more commercially focused with the opportunity to be coach and lead to become a Commercial Finance Manager or Business Partner in the future.
The line manager for the role is great - they have a great coaching style and a hand off approach to management to allow you to grow your skills.
To be considered for the role it is essential to have experience of management accounting and / or financial analysis and be working towards CIMA or ACCA. Full study support is available.
