Based in Bolton, our client is one of largest independent Apprenticeship training providers in the Northwest and has over fifty years’ experience in the training industry.

Job Description:
Due to growth in our client’s Engineering programmes they are looking to recruit a number of Engineers to join their tutor/assessor based team.
They are happy to discuss roles with individuals who have industry experience but may not have the relevant qualifications.
Our client will support with future development on an individual basis.
You will work with Apprentices on developing their skills and knowledge in Engineering.

If you hold an appropriate level 3 NVQ qualification and able to demonstrate experience of working in industry within their career.   You will need to be passionate about engineering and keen to pass on your knowledge and skills for the next generation.

Essential Skills:
Are you an engineering work based assessor?
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical/Machining/Fabrication & Welding)
Have you completed a full Apprenticeship and time served in industry or do you have relevant higher level qualifications?
Would you like a career in teaching to pass on your knowledge and skills to the next generation of Engineers?
Have you been involved in mentoring Apprentices in your workplace?

Desirable Skills:
Willing to work towards relevant assessing/teaching qualifications (TAQA/A1)
Support to a full teaching qualification is available.

Working Hours/Week:36.5

Holidays - 25 days plus 8 statutory banks

Mileage/Expenses - if applicable to role

HOURS 8-4.15 MON-THURSDAY (30 MIN MORNING BREAK AND 45 MIN FOR LUNCH)

8-2 ON FRIDAY
