The Skills You'll Need: Spoken and written Mandarin to native level. FX trading experience in overseas financial market business.
Your New Salary: up to £70k, possibly higher depending on experience

Reporting to: Head of Department / Senior Management
Job Status: Permanent. Hybrid working with 1 day WFH
Trader- What You'll be Doing:
* Assist in preparing the infrastructure required for financial market business, mainly including producing business’ policies and procedures, systems testing, establishing counterparties and client’s database, and communicating with local regulators and the Head Office, etc.
* Asist to establish 24-hour trading mechanism in the bank group level, including build-up cooperation procedures, optimize relevant transaction systems, etc.
* Take instructions of FX/Commodity products from the Head Office and seek best execution in the market under required conditions.
* Monitor Risk exposures, using financial market instruments to manage interest risk/exchange rate risk.
* Manage cash flow and liquidity of bank accounts. Perform interbank lending/borrowing, FX swap & interest rate derivative transaction dynamically in accordance with the bank’s asset-liability position.
* Maintain and expand trading counterparties of the bank to ensure that funds can be lent out and borrowed in at reasonable market pricing to meet the requirements of daily liquidity management.
* Actively communicate and cooperate with relevant departments in the bank to conduct cross-department marketing activities to maximize the profits of the bank.
* Effectively and efficiently complete other tasks assigned by Department Head/Senior Management.
Trader - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
* Fluent level of Mandarin and English in speaking and writing.
* Possess long-time experience in overseas financial market business, with deep understanding with relevant financial products in FX or rates field.
* Experiences in wholesale banking background and be able to skilfully utilise treasury products to manage bank’ liquidity risk.
* Strong team-work awareness, able to actively make contribution to development of department and team and help members of department and team grow together.
* Highly responsible and productive, able to multitask under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
* Open-minded to new business and new knowledge, and willing to try and make breakthroughs.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bloomberg.
