Salary up to £40,000 + performance bonus + mileage + £150 weekly OOH allowance

NonStop Social Care is currently working with an Independent Fostering Agency in Somerset. I am currently recruiting for a home-based supervising social worker for their team.

The Fostering Agency is High Standards and has achieved Good Ofsted rating in 2023 inspection. Currently they are on the journey for outstanding and will want social workers that can provide a family-feel environment to carers and children looked after. They have a great management structure, 3 deputies are helping the RM which means there will always be career progression opportunities to Senior roles due to expansion of the service.

Responsibilities

The home-based supervising social worker will be responsible to support carers and looked after children approximately 10-14 households. In case the caseload drops below 10, you will be asked to get involved in fostering recruitment, foster care training, events depending where you skills are.

The role is remote with office attendance 2-3 times per month in Somerset. Carers location is in Somerset/North S areas.

Requirements

Please apply if:

- you are a Qualified Social Worker

- you have 2-3 years of working knowledge of the supervising social worker role or have worked in the children looked after team or supported foster families
