JOB SUMMARY
* To provide support for the Head of Procurement to interface with stakeholders and deliver services as agreed to all Trusts within the Procurement Collaborative Portfolio.
* To develop and implement methodologies to facilitate and monitor contracts.
* Effectively manage the internal operations and resources to enable the delivery of the saving targets and work-plans
* To build professional relationships, implement change and support
* Enable Procurement to continuously improve the service delivered to stakeholders, enhance expertise and build capability and potential
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
* Experience of working in a Procurement team.
* Strong Mental Health procurement experience
* Experience of Procurement and Contract Management
* Experience of Microsoft Office or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
* Experience of negotiating complex contracts.
* Sound knowledge of contract management
* Knowledge of best practice in Procurement & supply
DESIRABLE
* Experience in Public Sector or NHS procurement
* Experience in using e-commerce platforms
* At least 2 years’ experience of managing staff
* Sound knowledge of contract Law
* Knowledge of Public Procurement tender processes and procedures
* Minimum of 5 years’ procurement related management experience with demonstrable achievements.
* Experience of working within the NHS and an understanding of current issues.
* Procuring Professional Service /FM contracts
TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS
ESSENTIAL
* Degree level or relevant equivalent experience
DESIRABLE
• CIPS Level 4 Graduate Diploma or working towards
