Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading company in the health care industry, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their in-house legal team based in Birmingham. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in advising and negotiating contracts with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and delivering exceptional service to our client.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement contracting strategies in compliance with relevant legislation.
Provide legal support on various contracts, including agreements for products, services and software.
Draft, review and negotiate agreements across the business.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to select appropriate legal documents.
Offer legal guidance on contract interpretation and other related issues.
Assist in the development of policies relating to the contracting process and ethics and compliance matters.
Perform ad-hoc duties as required. Requirements:

UK Qualified Solicitor with some experience in drafting both commercial and procurement agreements.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Sound understanding of the commercial aspects of contracts.
