The role

The role will be responsible for managing the delivery of the Show homes and Sales offices across all three regions of Orbit Homes. Also assisting the delivery of design schemes and production information for Independent Living.

This role is part of Orbit Homes where you'll help us to build 6,500 new affordable homes by 2025 in a sustainable way.

The role is a regional role so the successful candidate will be expected to travel between our Midlands / South / East regions.

What you'll achieve

As the Interior Design Project Manager, you will be accountable for:

Communicating with the Interior Design Manager to co-ordinate completion fit out dates and de-camp schedules. Ensuring the schedule is maintained

Liaising with contractors and site teams to manage the installation of the show homes and sales offices

Producing decorating, lighting, and furniture schedules for all relevant contractors

Completing site visits to ensure the show home is on schedule and works have been carried out as the specification

Opening trade accounts with suppliers, working with the Group Procurement Team to ensure all appropriate procedures are followed

Maintaining a database of final costings of all show homes, sales offices, and furniture pack schemes

Producing maintenance schedules for each Independent Living scheme installed detailing fire ratings, warranties, and cleaning instructions

What you'll bring

Essential skills

Must have proven Project Management experience and are able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in show home installations

Good analytical skills, able to review information and determining the best approach

Excellent interpersonal skills, able to confidently liaise with contractors, the sales team and site team

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Desirable skills

An understanding of EstiPC would be desirable but is not a requirement
