This is a new intern position for 12 months in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Communications team, focusing on supporting the UK & Nordics market group. It offers early practical experience in corporate communications with a worldwide company. With your creativity, tenacity, editorial talent and organizational skills, you will make a significant contribution to team success.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
* Support the UK & Nordics Market Group Communications business partner, who is responsible for all external and internal communications, media and PR (please note – this is not a marketing role)
* Source, research, write and produce editorial – text, photo, video
* Maintain an editorial calendar
* Arrange for translation when necessary
* Help to prepare and run webinars and events
* Publish to managed internal and external channels
* Communicate with external stakeholders
* Arrange for rights and permissions for material
* Participate in the development of communication campaigns and coordinate requests from EMEA and our world headquarters
* You will also be involved in many ad-hoc topics as part of a busy team
EXPERIENCE AND KEY QUALIFICATIONS
* You are/have been a student of communication/media studies, journalism or a comparable course of study.
* Creative, flexible, resilient and proactive.
* You have good interpersonal skills.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Strong skills in creating presentation materials with clear and concise messages
* Excellent computer skills, including all MS applications Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of digital collaboration and communication tools would be a plus, as is Adobe environment (InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop)
* You can manage several priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
* Curious, flexible, you know how to work alone and within a team, in an international environment with remote colleagues around the world
