Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families? The Connected Peoples Team at our client is currently looking for experienced Supervising Social Workers to join their team. You will be responsible for undertaking robust assessments and providing support to family and friends carers who are applying to look after children known to them including Special Guardians. Your work will require out of county travel and overnight stays, but it will be fulfilling and impactful.
Responsibilities
Undertaking robust assessments for carers who are applying to look after children known to them
Providing support to family and friends carers including Special Guardians
Ensuring timely assessment completion
Working within court processes, care proceedings and long-term permanence options for children
Requirements
Post Qualified Experience within Permanence
SWE Registration
Full UK Driving Licence
