We are seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the operations of our La Crema outlets. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, driving revenue growth, and maintaining operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and workflow optimization.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold high standards of service, product knowledge, and professionalism.
  • Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment.
  •  Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability, including menu development and pricing strategies. 
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in all facilities, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed.
  • Uphold the company's standards of quality, consistency, and excellence in all areas of operation.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence in food and beverage offerings.
  •  Manage staff effectively, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve operational objectives and foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee all operations within the group, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all financial procedures, including accounts reconciliation and income-expenditure balancing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase profit margins while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in cafes or bars.
  • Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or similar discipline an advantage.
  • Minimum five years experience in a similar senior managerial role.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to upholding industry standards.
