Frontline Recruitment in Weymouth are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join one of our clients in Dorchester.
You will report to Grounds Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsible for:
Managing communal areas in and around the area of Dorchester, including grass cutting, minor tree works and hedge / shrub cutting.
Carrying out clearances within watercourses and empty home gardens
Carrying out general duties including litter picking and waste removal
Carrying out minor repairs and servicing to equipment as directed
Liaising with our customers, providing advice and guidance
Identifying and reporting repairs
Requirements:
Experience in providing grounds maintenance services.
A horticultural or related qualification, or proven ability and experience.
A PA1 and PA6A in pesticide application, and CS30 and CS31 in chainsaw use is desirable.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, in particular H&S and COSHH.
A full manual driving licence, with the ability to drive a vehicle up to 3.5T, preferably with the ability to tow.
Ability to work without supervision and take ownership of own work.
Being competent in the use of IT systems.

Pay rate £12.90ph
