Infinity Employment are recruiting for an Analyst for our Logistics client based in Staines. The role will be to support the International Service Delivery team to provide customers with world class and innovative delivery solutions that exceed customer service expectations.

You will support in monitoring operational performance and make recommendations on operational improvements, as well as supporting in the operation as necessary. Your role will include operational account management through establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers and dealing with operational enquiries.

Additionally, your role will include undertaking data analysis, including interpreting data and drawing conclusions to drive performance improvement, reporting on key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends, as well as supplier rate card analysis.

This role will require flexibility in working approach, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a proactive approach. Beyond your core responsibilities, you are expected to foster collaborative working across the team and the wider business. Your role will involve delivering transformational change.

Main Responsibilities

* Providing operational account management support to existing and new clients by answering questions, resolving problems, and investigating any issues with conveyance and delivery providers.

* Communicating with customers to confirm deliveries, any network issues, expected delivery dates and any other information requested.

* Working closely with suppliers to ensure customer expectations are met in terms of quality, service, and timescale.

* Support implementation of new suppliers, networks, customer onboarding etc.

* Support in preparing reports and business cases.

* Undertake data analysis in key areas such as rate card analysis, operational performance, budget and revenue etc.

* Support the operational team as necessary to ensure any shipments and despatches are processed in a timely manner and train operational staff as required.

* Support in managing and liaison with suppliers.

* Proactively identify and implement improvements in procedures and working practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

* Support in updating supplier communications such as service alerts, operating procedures, and customer onboarding processes.

Competencies/Personal Requirements/Experience

* Ability to understand and interrogate data quickly and accurately.

* Ability to apply judgment in problem solving.

* Excellent communication skills both internally across distances and externally with customers and partners

* Self-motivated, working independently as well as part of a team.

* Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (training will also be given)

* A logical approach to problem solving is essential.

* Ability to take an innovative approach.

* Ability to develop and build relationships both internally and externally.

* Strong customer focussed attributes.

* Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.

* Project management skills are desirable.

* Able to work independently and remotely and acceptance of working outside of normal office hours.

* The Post-holder will be expected to undertake reasonable requests from managers in line with the range and scope of the post.

* The conduct of the post holder must be in accordance with the terms of any Jersey legislation e.g. employment legislation, human rights etc.

* The Post holder must comply with the requirements of the Risk Management Policy, a copy of which is available on the Intranet.
