Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead/Principal Piping Engineer to join one of the UK's leading construction and engineering solutions company on a long term contract basis. This Role will be a Hybrid Role with 2 days in the office in their Manchester office, Contract and Outside of Scope of IR35.

The Lead/Principal Piping Engineer will oversee piping projects from conception to completion, requiring extensive experience in piping engineering to lead design activities. You will be supervising a team, ensuring compliance with standards, managing resources, and maintaining technical excellence. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion, while driving continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, approve, and prepare design/engineering documentation, ensuring adherence to company procedures and industry standards.
Lead and supervise discipline personnel, delegating tasks and overseeing timely delivery against assigned projects.
Stay informed about legislative requirements, industry trends, and technological advancements, providing informed guidance to clients.
Attend safety reviews, technical meetings, and engage in discussions with client engineers.
Experience :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience in engineering documentation coordination or similar roles.
Thorough understanding of relevant codes, standards, and legislative requirements.
