Our client is a Demolition and Strip Out contractor with a very strong order book for 2024/5.
Our client is an investor in people, they have an excellent on boarding/training and professional development programme, with a strong staff retention record.
They are looking for a Plant Coordinator and Buyer for their works yard.
Applicants interested in the position will have previous experience in managing and controlling plant for a busy contractor.
The Candidates Duties/Role:
* Extremely organised and computer literate.
* Setting up of fail-safe systems in order to control hired plant commercially and effectively for the company.
* Logging defects with in house or hired equipement - organising repairations.
* Proactive communication with in house site managers and supervisors, making sure they are adhering to plant rules/regulations.
* Liaising with plant hire companies in order to build rapport and obtain the best deals out there (Commercially Aware).
* Occasional site visits.
