Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: £30,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum + Comms

The Role

My client requires an experienced, high-energy, and target driven Business Development Manager within the eLearning/Edtech sector

The role will be responsible for achieving monthly business and sector engagement as well as sales targets. Developing relationships at the right level and generating high-value sales is a priority.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

* Collaborate with Commercial delivery and Marketing teams to shape and lead the sales strategy for our commercial products - digital skills courses, learning management systems, eLearning.

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets

* Work with clients to identify their needs & requirements, recognising opportunities for further account growth

* Responsible for the achievement of digital skills sales targets and KPIs, continually exploring opportunities for development

* Develop new business through a range of sales techniques (face-to-face, telesales, networking, social media)

* Analyse and report on all sales identified in the plan, identifying trends and implementing actions to improve

* Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts

* Maximise all cross selling and upselling opportunities promoting the A2B portfolio of products and services

* Work closely with operational teams to ensure sales activity is aligned to operational capacity and interventions implemented effectively

* Continually develop and understand the competitive landscape and create a knowledge base to support key stakeholders and all areas of the business.

* Attend and promote A2B, developing our presence and networks within relevant sectors

* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential target markets

Essential Criteria

* Business development experience in the following areas: learning management systems, digital skills training, eLearning/Edtech.

* Experienced sales professional (3 years +) with demonstrable experience in regularly achieving/exceeding targets/KPIs

* Proven, successful track record in business development and network growth

* Excellent knowledge of sales process, analysis and metrics

* Strong business development and organisation skills

* Good people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire

* Ability to align to the strong values base of the company

* Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

* Demonstrable commitment to equality diversity and inclusion
