Van Driver / Grounds Maintenance Operatives
The main purpose of this role is to provide an effective housing grounds maintenance service. The Van Driver/ Grounds Maintenance Operative will be required to drive to various client locations and have experience of using grounds maintenance machinery (mowers, strimmers, blowers etc) to carry out grounds maintenance tasks.
The Opportunity
* Full time,
* 40 Hours per week ( 7.00am to 4.00pm ) Monday to Friday
* Work outdoors and contribute to the maintenance of open spaces and the care of green spaces.
* Duties will include driving transit van, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, shrub bed maintenance, gritting in winter months, sweeping, garden clearance and litter as required.
The Person
* The ideal candidate must be keen to learn, enjoy a challenge, be honest, hardworking, reliable and personable and have a keen interest in horticulture.
* Previous experience of Grounds Maintenance skills and horticulture.
* Previous experience of handheld machinery is desirable.
* Operative must hold a full UK driving license
* Must have safety shoes
Rate of Pay: £12.25 per hour
This is a temp to perm position.
