Building Surveyor - Consultancy

Calibre Search are looking to speak with Building Surveyors from Assistant up to Senior level who would be interested in joining a growing and ambitious Multi-Discipline Practice based in Sheffield.

After speaking with the building surveying Director, they have recently won some huge bids being part of a huge framework agreement which will see them service various University and other education type buildings offering full project management & building surveying work.

They've been operating for over 20 years now and took the market by storm and have grown from strength to strength over the years. They happy to consider both intermediate level Building Surveyors who are working towards their APC as well as a more accomplished Senior Building Surveyor who would like to be aiming towards Associate level in the coming years.

If you like the idea of joining a small, vibrant, supportive and mixed experienced team, this position could certainly be for you. If you also haven't achieved your MRICS, the Director herself is an experienced APC Accessor so can offer upfront support for anyone striding to become chartered.

Duties:

Fee proposals
Taking client briefs
Preparing scheme designs with budget costs plans and project programmes
Preparing tenders and contract documentation
Undertaking cost analysis and value engineering
Managing project costs and reporting regularly to clients
Advising clients on their duties under CDM
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Undertaking building surveys and schedule of conditions
