Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Senior Project Manager to be based in New York, New York area working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Manages multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets.
Coordinates construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects
Responds to client issued RFQ and RFPs, assist in marketing for Transit Rail pursuits
Manages and mentors staff, be a visible leader and trusted advisor by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally.
Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
Manages more complex clients and projects.
Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
