As the Inhouse Videographer and Photographer, you'll be capturing colleague content across the business, from photoshoots of colleagues working on the warehouse floor, to creating video content showcasing our senior leaders, you'll be catching all the action.

Project managing, directing, shooting and editing, you'll have end to end exposure of all areas of content creation, with the support of our fantastic Employer Brand Team. You'll also work on our careers website, ensuring all our engaging content is showcased there, along with any other updates that are needed to our careers pages. And in addition, you'll work alongside our experienced Creative Designer and will look to support her as and when needed with creating or editing creative assets for our digital channels.

What you'll do

Project plan video/photoshoots end to end, including stakeholder engagement, producing, directing, shooting & editing
Collaboration with colleagues across the business, in all departments and locations
Be responsible for our careers website, learning and understanding our CMS and updating it with refreshed copy and imagery as and when needed
Support our Creative Designer with the creation/editing of digital assets using InDesign & Photoshop
Work with our agency partners on ad hoc projects, leaning on them for support as and when needed but also supporting them on larger scale shoots
Champion our employer brand and be a guardian of our brand guidelines
Audit of internal and external channels to identify opportunities for engagement with the Lidl GB employer brand.

What you'll need

Experience as a videographer/photographer with the ability to use Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Lightroom to edit videos and images
Confidence in lighting and sound design for videos
Full UK Driving License and flexibility to travel to different locations for shoots up to 12 times per year
After Effects, InDesign & Photoshop capabilities
Confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business
Previous experience of working as an employer brand/communications specialist is desirable
Excellent organisation and project management skills, ideally with experience of working within a busy environment
Good attention to detail with the ability to write accurate, clear copy and to proof-read materials to ensure they comply with the tone of voice guidelines
Experience working to brand guidelines and a keen eye for detail
An understanding of the importance of a good user experience for a careers website, with the willingness to learn how to operate our CMS effectively.
