EOL Test Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation focusing on battery cell research and manufacturing has an exciting opportunity for an EOL Test Engineer. The successful candidate will develop, implement and review of end-of-line testing standards, specifications, and customer qualification requirements.
 
The EOL Test Engineer will:
Take part in laboratory equipment review and bring recommendations and feedback on topics such as measuring tools and inspection equipment or methods.
Report on activities on a regular basis to the Technical Lead.
Create end-of-line test reports and records for audit.
Coordinate with Manufacturing and Product Engineers to provide manufacturability studies for end-of-line testing in battery cells and module & packs while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards and achieving targets in a timely fashion.
Engage with industrial equipment suppliers to commission and install equipment.  
 
The EOL Test Engineer will have:
Hands-on experience working with CANalayzer, CANape, CANoe, PCAN.
Awareness of Battery hazards related to HV secondary Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.
Lithium-ion battery testing experience in an automotive environment (Cell, Module and Pack), programming and calibration of test equipment, creating test procedure steps, review process capability.
Experience of HV DC systems, practical experience of testing batteries for automotive applications to include liquid cooled systems, diagnostics and fault finding and root cause analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
