Engineering Supervisor (Permanent) - BD21
£42,000 - £45,000 per annum (negotiable on experience)
Monday to Friday
A position has become available for an Engineering Supervisor working with our leading Manufacturing client based in Keighley. Reporting to the General Manager, this autonomous position will be a challenging multi-facetted role requiring a person who can adapt and be flexible in managing their duties.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
* Demonstrate positive behaviours by actively supporting Lean and Continuous Improvement activity on site.
* Develop the engineering team to improve their knowledge and skill, recommending any additional training and coaching where required.
* Support and develop the Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring full preventative maintenance is carried out effectively.
* Assist with any breakdowns/projects as required.
* Support implementation and installation of any new machinery or projects.
* Perform root cause analysis to resolve problems.
The successful candidate will be:
Skill set:
* Strong leadership skills - at least 3 years
* Ideally qualified to HND level or equivalent
* Experience of high-speed manufacturing environment
* Ability to accurately fault find establishing root cause.
* Multi-skilled – either electrical or mechanical bias but must have proven knowledge in both skills.
