Exciting Opportunity for a Value Stream Scheduler in Scarborough, UK

Are you ready for a new challenge? Our client, an innovative and dynamic manufacturing organisation in Scarborough, UK, is looking for a talented Value Stream Scheduler to join their team. As the Value Stream Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the right load balance and synchronisation of product families and load centres with finite capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, manage, and be responsible for the production plan for one of the lines in the factory.
Adhere to milestones in the product lifecycle and take ownership of the Healthy production start process.
Effectively manage customer expectations and production capabilities.
Monitor line performance regularly and communicate any issues to management.
Coordinate line issues related to production control, such as shortages, priorities, and escalations.
Collaborate with other areas of the business to achieve the best on-time delivery and highest service level for customers.
Utilise MRP to link upstream and downstream flows.
Drive change and suggest improvements to the current processes.

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills to coordinate between departments.
Proficient IT skills, particularly in MS Excel.
Problem-solving mindset.
Continuous improvement mentality.
