FLT Driver/Production Operative

Location: Bootle, L30
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00 OR 15:00-24:00
Hourly Rate: £11.62 for early shifts, £11.87 for late shifts
Employment Type: Temporary, with potential for permanent placement
Start date: ASAP

Our client, a production company located in the Bootle Liverpool area, is currently in need of Forklift Truck drivers /Production Operators to join their team. This role involves a blend of forklift operation and production tasks, with a primary focus on operating a counterbalance truck.

Please note that applicants must hold a valid RTITB or ITSAAR approved FLT Counterbalance licence. In-house certifications will not be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Participating in production line activities and unloading palletised stock.
Conducting quality checks.
Monitoring machine operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Loading and unloading vehicles.
Transporting goods within the facility.
Adhering strictly to Food and Health & Safety protocols on site.
Undertaking any other production-related tasks as necessary.
Requirements for the Role:
Possession of a valid RTITB or ITSAAR approved FLT Counterbalance licence.
Reach truck licence and experience is desirable but not essential.
Prior experience using FLT for at least 12 months.
Prior experience working on a production line.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced food production environment.
Demonstrated hardworking and positive attitude.
