We are recruiting someone to take care of a busy sales ledger function for our growing Wirral based client, who have a small friendly team on the Wirral.
There is opportunity for this role to grow in the future.

What you’ll do
• Generate and issue invoices to customers accurately and promptly.
• Process payments received from customers and allocate them to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile sales ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with provisioning of broadband and ensure it’s invoiced correctly
• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment.
• Assist with credit control activities, including sending reminders and statements to customers.
• Provide support to the finance team during month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain documentation and records related to sales transactions in an organized manner.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing inquiries or disputes.

Experience you need
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting department.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
