Position: Social Science Teacher
Location: Slough
Start Date: September 2024
Pay Rate: £120 - £220 per day

Look no further- We are seeking to appoint Social Science Teachers at a Good Secondary School in Slough. Come and join our dedicated and enthusiastic team in September 2024 on a permanent, full-time contract. This school was most recently judged by Ofsted to be a ‘Good’ school. The school is renowned for providing a supportive and friendly working environment.
As a Social Science Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality education to our students, day-to-day teaching and learning provision for children in their class. You will receive coaching and mentoring from experienced leaders in the school to ensure that you are supported in all aspects of what you do.
Newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
As a Social Science Teacher, you will be expected to:
Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring both academic progress and personal development
Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, homework assignments, and tests
Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
Previous experience is desired but not essential
Requirements:
A teaching qualification, QTS/PGCE
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the curriculum requirements.
