Head of Compliance

SF Recruitment are partnered with a West Midlands based; private equity backed service provider who are seeking an experienced Head of Compliance. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a critical role in the development of the business as it continues to scale. It provides a motivated individual with an ideal opportunity to grow with the business during its next phase as well as providing exposure to the private equity environment.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Devise and execute the Compliance Strategy.
- Create monitor and oversee strong control environments that prevent violations of legal guidelines, safeguard Company Assets and ensure adherence to Internal policies.
- Create and implement an audit process focusing on processes, documents, and practices to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues. Work with local management teams to create practical and effective corrective action plans and monitor progress.
- Identification and documentation of key risks faced by the organisation, ensure they are correctly captured on the Risk Registers, assess the adequacy of mitigating controls, and recommend corrective actions.
- Educate and train local management and employees on compliance matters and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manage specific projects and investigations around exposures and/or allegations of inappropriate activities coordinating both internal and external specialists.

To be considered for this role you will have an entrepreneurial nature and will have demonstrated clear value add activities in the companies you've worked at previously.
