Beverage Purchasing Associate

As a Beverage Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of beverages for Happier. Your role is crucial in ensuring the availability of high-quality beverages while maintaining cost-effectiveness and meeting the demands of customers. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels, and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
The ideal candidate will quickly be able to adapt to the brand, values, and culture of the company, evoking passion and excitement for the process in all involved, while providing an upbeat and positive client and team experience. Because we are a small team, we all wear many hats and are happy to roll up our sleeves and lend a hand whenever needed. Responsibilities
·       Knowledge beverage items (N/A, Wine, Spirit, Beer etc.)
·       Ability to execute purchase orders in coordination with the Purchasing Manager
·       Communicate with department heads regarding relevant and specific purchase needs
·       Distribute requisitions and itemized templates for team member
·       Oversee and assist in unloading, receiving, sorting, stocking, securing, and distributing goods on occasion
·       Monitor vendors for case variances, timeliness, and price variance
·       Maintain internal database of approved vendors
·       Maintain updated records of purchased products and invoices
·       Perform inventory counts and audits on a weekly basis (Various Locations)
·       Code invoices for finance team in order to process payment in a timely manner
·       Assist with maintaining inventory management and purchase order systems
·       Ensure that orders are place on time and communication with Receiving team about delivery windows

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
·       Ability to troubleshoot proactively and creatively to meet team needs
·       Hospitality Background preferred
