Are you a passionate and dedicated Science teacher with a specialism in Biology or Chemistry? Dunbar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a thriving 11-18 mixed academy in Northampton. This role offers flexibility, with both part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE) and full-time positions available, allowing you to contribute significantly to the school's Science department.

About the Role:

Position: Teacher of Science (Biology or Chemistry Specialism Preferred)
Levels: Key Stages 3-5
Start Date: September 2024 (or as soon as possible)
Contract Type: Part-Time (0.6 FTE minimum) or Full-Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Science lessons, ideally specializing in Biology or Chemistry, to students across Key Stages 3-5.
Develop and implement engaging and challenging curriculum plans.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science.
Assess, record, and report on student progress and development.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular Science activities and events.Requirements:

A degree in a Science subject or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science at secondary level; applications from both ECTs and more experienced colleagues are welcomed.
Strong subject knowledge in Biology or Chemistry and a passion for Science education.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
