Quality Inspector

Mc Mullens a Fabrication company based in Nottingham is looking for a Quality Controller to join their team!

Interviews will be held on site, you must have the right to work in the UK.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products and assemblies
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product specifications are met
Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or abnormalities
Collect and analyse data to identify trends or patterns in product quality
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
Communicate any quality issues or concerns to the appropriate departments for resolution
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or in a similar role preferred
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or abnormalities
Excellent data collection and analysis skills
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Must be able to read and interpreted engineers drawing
