Area Sales Manager - Paints & Coatings – Northern Ireland – Ref 2429

Responsibilities:

* Development of sales plans and management of the day-to-day activities of the respective sales territory in order to implement the company’s overall sales strategy.

* Manage and nurture relationships with key retail accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

* Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute retail-specific promotional activities, product launches and campaigns.

* To prepare business analysis, presentations and updates for customers.

* Drive Sales and meet all set targets including volume and margin within specific geographical area.

* Handling of complaints in a professional and non-confrontational manner.

* Collaborate closely with our technical team for trials and trouble shooting.

* Establish and maintain excellent relations with key decision makers.

* Promptly report competitor activity, market trends, price surveys and new product development in the marketplace.

Candidate Profile:

* Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience.

* Experience within the paint and coatings industry.

* Proven experience in sales management or territory management.

Our client is looking for an Area Sales Manager to take responsibility for the implementation of the organisation’s overall sales strategy within Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative/Territory Manager with paint and coatings industry knowledge who is looking for a new challenge in maintaining and growing our successful business within Northern Ireland.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to €55,000.
