Rotherham, South Yorkshire
£90 per day
Term-time only
September 2024 start date
Potential for Permanent Job offer after 12 weeks
Unique School Solutions are supporting a Rotherham Primary School to recruit Teaching Assistants to work with pupils in EYFS & KS1 with autism and communication difficulties. The successful candidate will work with pupils on a one to one basis and in small groups to promote the growth and inclusion of children with complex learning needs.
This is a full-time, term-time only role starting in September 2024. Initially the role will be via Unique School Solutions on a temporary basis. However, following a short successful probation period there will be an opportunity to secure a permanent contract of employment with the school.
We are seeking Teaching Assistants with the following skills and experience:
* Experience working within a school in EYFS or KS1.
* Referenceable experience working with children with SEND needs.
* A working understanding of autism, communication difficulties and other complex needs.
* Knowledge of behaviour management and how to deal with children in crisis.
* Be patient and calm whilst providing nurturing support to pupils.
* Ability to build strong professional relationships with children and other staff members.
