Finance Manager

Antony James Recruitment are delighted to be working with a bespoke manufacturer in recruiting a Finance Manager. Reporting into the company directors you will take lead of the financial controls and general business duties.

Financial Responsibilities

Operational and strategic financial support to the Directors
Preparation, monitoring and review of annual budget
Preparation, monitoring and review of cashflow forecast
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of year end accounts
Responsible for all aspects of payroll processing
Responsible for bank reconciliation including foreign currency accounts
Processing of supplier invoices
Processing of supplier payments
Receipting of all income from customers including online sales
Reconciliation of credit cards
Submission of monthly VAT return
Revaluation of foreign currency
Reconciliation of StockHR Responsibilities

Provision of generalist HR support and advice to the Directors
Preparation of offer letters, contract of employments and changes to terms of employment.
Monitoring and update of HR policies
Promoting effective employee relations including grievance, disciplinary, absence management and performance management.
Management of annual leaveOther

Management of insurance policies
Management of facilities and associated service contactsPerson specification

Manufacturing/Production experience essential
Experience of working on your own initiative
Ability to work with a high workload and competing priorities
Superb attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Excellent IT skills including Sage 50Qualifications/experience

To a minimum of AAT qualified
Experience of Sage 50 essential and CIM50 desirable
