Estate Operative
Location – Manchester
Salary - £25,000
One Property Recruitment, a recruitment specialist, are working on an exclusive search for an Estate Operative, to join with our client based in Manchester.
About the Client
My client provides their customers with affordable rented homes across the UK. All my clients’ homes are new builds. My client is one of the largest listed providers of build to rent homes. They are looking for an Estate Operative to join the team in Manchester. My client offers a generous salary with discretionary bonus. My client will provide you with all the training and tools needed.
About the Role:
As an Estate operative you will be reporting directly to the maintenance manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance of 3 new build residential buildings. You will be working directly to the maintenance operative on site. This role is site-based Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. The site has on-site parking. Ideally my client wants someone who can drive and has a clean license.
Responsibilities:
* Reports to Maintenance manager.
* Tugging bins.
* Responsible for the maintenance of 3 buildings.
* Undertake maintenance tasks including – bin movements, refuse chute / area maintenance, light bulb replacement, painting, decorating, plaster repairs, minor internal and external maintenance repairs to hard surfaces and soft services.
* Ensure all tools are maintained and kept securely.
* Carry out any touch up paint work in communal areas within the buildings, as and when required.
Required:
* Knowledge in common maintenance tasks.
* Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
* Familiar with building systems.
* Work on own innovative.
* Positive and proactive attitude.
