Electrical Project Manager

We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Electrical Project Manager based in the North West that has a commercial background with some fitout work but is also happy to get their teeth stuck into other projects.

The package is made up of a £60,000 salary, with a £5000 car allowance, 25 days holiday (with your birthday on top as a freebie) + Bank holidays and a bonus. Which all in all takes this package to around £70K.

As above, all the projects are going to be commercial with a large proportion of the work going to be focusing on fast track fitouts however it isn’t unheard for the business to also take on new build contracts or assisting on railways or ministry buildings. Hence the need for some flexibility.

Job Role:

* The office is based in Leigh and this role is largely office based. Your diary is dictated by you so if you feel a site visit is necessary, then take yourself on site. The sites can be based nationwide and you’ll never be pressured to stay away overnight. Only if you deem it necessary. (Overnight expenses would be paid however)

* Management of the installers on site ensuring they deliver to an industry standard and that agreed on the contract

* Motivating your team to ensure projects are completed on time as there can often be a fast turnaround on projects

* Working with the QS team to ensure projects remain on cost against quotes

* Project specific Health and safety / legal compliance to include the creation of your project specific RAMS, accident reporting and ensuring all operative on your projects are qualified to undertake the works expected of them.

* Procuring materials and plant at the best possible price alongside the commercial team which is currently being grown

Skills and Qualifications:

* Relevant Electrical Qualifications

* CSCS (Black)

* SMSTS

* Previous experience as a Electrical project manager with a preference going to those who’ve managed fast track fitout projects given they’re the core of the business
